Summer Glau is an American actress known for her performance in the role of River Tam in the critically popular TV show Firefly and also as Cameron in the show Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. In addition to these television series, she's also appeared in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck & Hawaii Five-0 as well guest-starring in Angel The Unit Cape Arrow & Sequestered. In addition to her appearances in Serenity and Knights of Badassdom she has appeared in several TV as well as short films such as Mammoth Sarah, the beginning of Deadly Honeymoon Dead End Help for the Holidays and Inside the Box. Glau has won several accolades. FHM named her two times among the 100 Sexiest women of all Time and Wizard magazine ranked her as one of the most sexiest women on television. Maxim magazine also listed Glau as an American beauty in their Hot 100. Glau received the SFX Award as Best Actress in Serenity. The actress also won the Saturn Award as Best Supporting actor for her part on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was born the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena began her career in music when she was 8 an old. Her father started the band. Selena was the lead guitarist in the band, along with her two older siblings Abraham junior on base as well as Sister Suzette who played drums. Selena acted as the vocalist. Selena Y Los Dino, the group she played with was known as Selena Y Los Dino. They also performed at wedding fairs, as and in eating places. Selena The Los Dino band was a rather demanding group for Selena as well as her siblings. This meant that they did not get much of a chance to grow up. Abraham senior performed in Los Dinos, the band which started the whole thing. Selena Y Los Dinos were officially founded in 1981. The band is the enterprise of the Quintanillas as the main source of revenue. While there were difficult times starting out with very little money the Quintanilla family stood firm and persevered in their quest to create an effective band. Selena Y Los Dinos became famous in states of the west towards the end of the 1980s. The first time Selena was successful was in 1986 when she won the distinction of Female Vocalist Of The Year and Performer Of The Year at the Tejano music awards. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to be among the winners of Tejano awards for music, and they gained fame and respect. The group appeared in many shows in Spanish, including El Show De Johnny Canales as well as Siempre En Domingo or Sabado Gigante.
